This blog began as a way for us to express the joys, frustrations, and excitement we faced in our journey through infertility. We hoped and prayed that would end with a sweet bundle to fill our arms; however, God had a different plan for us. And now, 12 years into our marriage, God has yet another plan. As we embrace this life God has called us to, we never guessed it would include a cancer diagnosis, but it did and it's still a great life and He is still a Good God!

What a great post! I wish I could have been there for Karl's challenge to the kids. It's amazing how God's Word (even through a song that was no doubt inspired by His Word) can fit to any circumstance we have to endure.
Even though it's only temporary, I think it's great that you and Heath are acting as youth leaders for now. What a honorable calling from God. I believe this time with the youth group will be growing and healing for both of you. I know I sure have loved pouring myself into all the little ones at church.
